Music, Gettysburg! presents Dearest Home

Music, Gettysburg! presents Dearest Home Concert on Sunday, July 26, at 6:00 p.m. in Gettysburg. This free concert features music from 19th-century America, performed with historic authenticity by talented vocalists, guitarists, a fiddler, and a keyboardist.

Dearest Home brings to life songs heard in Civil War army camps and parlors, along with music that once filled the canals and mines of Victorian-era Pennsylvania. The ensemble shares familiar Civil War-era favorites while also reviving rare songs collected across Pennsylvania more than a century ago and later rediscovered in the Penn State archives.
