Experience the musical sounds of the American Civil War era at Gettysburg National Military Park’s 27th Annual Music Muster on August 2 and 3.
Music begins Friday, August 2, at noon, under the front lawn tent at Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center and continues throughout the day on Saturday, August 3.
Additional concerts take place Friday and Saturday night at the Park’s Amphitheater and at the Dobbin House, 88 Steinwehr Avenue.
Hear ballads, folk songs, field music, and marches that were popular in the mid-nineteenth century. And, on Saturday, see the Victorian Dance Ensemble illustrate Civil War era dances.
Performers this year include: The Libby Prison Minstrels, Hudson and Clark, Fort Delaware Cornet Band, Steve and Lisa Ball, Jeff Greenawalt, Civil War Comrades, and the 46th Pennsylvania Band.
All programs are free and open to the public. Schedule is subject to change.
