Adams County Library System presents “My God What Good Men I Must Lose This Day!” The Disastrous New York Campaign on Tuesday, August 25, from 6:00–7:00 PM at 140 Baltimore St in Gettysburg.

Historian Phillip Greenwalt explores the New York Campaign of the American Revolution, examining why the campaign was a critical objective for both sides and how the battles in New York became a devastating setback for the American cause. Through historical analysis and engaging storytelling, attendees gain a deeper understanding of the military challenges, leadership decisions, and lasting significance of this pivotal campaign.

Held in Gettysburg, this program offers an opportunity to learn more about one of the Revolutionary War’s defining moments and the events that shaped the nation’s fight for independence.
