Operation Honor: Rural Salute PA Free Family Fun Day

Operation Honor: Rural Salute brings a free community event honoring veterans and military families to GARA in Gettysburg on July 25. The day focuses on resources, connection, and celebration for veterans, military families, and the broader community.

Guests can explore resource booths that connect veterans with benefits, services, and support while enjoying food trucks, live music, speaker panels, and family-friendly activities, including a petting zoo. The event creates a welcoming space for neighbors, service members, families, and supporters to gather, learn, and celebrate those who served.

Live music and ceremonial moments include the Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps presenting colors, performing the national anthem, and offering a short concert. Mark England, a Vietnam Veteran, and Alexia Christian also perform as part of the day’s entertainment.

This event is free and open to the public.
