Orchestra Concert ~ Vuelo Doble

Join us on Friday, November 21st, at 8:00pm at the Majestic Theater for an evening of vivid color, rhythmic energy, and musical imagination.

The Gettysburg College Sunderman Conservatory Symphony, under the direction of Dr. César Leal, presents Vuelo Doble, a program that brings together iconic masterworks and vibrant new sounds from Latin America.

Featured selections include works by Igor Stravinsky, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, and Camille Saint-Saëns, culminating in the world premiere of a new orchestration of Danzas Latinoamericanas by José Elizondo. This dynamic program invites listeners to explore the cultural threads that connect musical traditions across continents.
