Pippinfest returns to Fairfield, Pennsylvania, on September 26 and 27, 2026, bringing a full weekend of fall fun, food, and small-town charm.
Named for the historic Pippin apple—one of the first apples cultivated in America—the festival celebrates Fairfield’s agricultural roots while offering a lively, modern-day community experience. In 2026, the event also joins in commemorating the 250th birthday of America with added patriotic flair.
Throughout the weekend, the streets fill with craft and food vendors, community yard sales, and plenty of opportunities to shop, eat, and explore. Families can enjoy the always-popular Kids Corner, featuring inflatables, games, pony rides, and hands-on activities, along with old-fashioned games and Americana-themed prizes. Special additions for the year include colonial demonstrations that showcase how daily life and crafts were practiced in early America, bringing history to life in a fun and engaging way. Guests may also spot an Uncle Sam stilt walker adding a festive and patriotic touch to the celebration.
The Quilt Show at the Village Hall highlights traditional craftsmanship, while Sunday’s Cruise-In Car Show and Swap Meet draws car enthusiasts with a wide variety of vintage and classic vehicles.
With something happening around every corner, Pippinfest delivers a lively, can’t-miss weekend packed with history, community spirit, and fun for all ages.
