This Event Has Passed
On November 19, 1863, President Abraham Lincoln gave the most famous speech in American history. Since Lincoln, many other presidents have visited Gettysburg, some to find inspiration from the events that occurred here in 1863 and others to deliver their own “Gettysburg Address.”
