Revolution on the Ridge – The Voice of our Fathers’ Blood

As the founding epoch of the United States, the American Revolution is shrouded in memory and mythology. In addition to extensive portraiture and scenic artistry, sculptors dotted the U.S. with granite and bronze tributes to battlefield leaders, political masterminds, and world-changing principles.

Join historian Codie Eash as he explores how the American founding generation, and those who came shortly after, commemorated the Revolution through the nation’s first wave of monumentation, from the Declaration of Independence to the beginning of the Civil War.

Codie Eash will be at the Seminary Ridge Museum and Education Center on Friday, November 6, at 3:30pm.
