Revolution on the Ridge – To Make True and Complete the Declaration

Seminary Ridge Museum presents Revolution on the Ridge – To Make True and Complete the Declaration on Friday, December 4 at 3:30 p.m. at 111 Seminary Ridge in Gettysburg.

In his Gettysburg Address, President Abraham Lincoln famously opened with a call back to America’s founding “four score and seven years” earlier, in 1776. Many of the “brave men, living and dead, who struggled here” likewise made similar statements of their own, during and after the Civil War.

Join Codie Eash as he explores the meaning of the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolution through the writings of those who fought at Gettysburg in 1863.
