Revolutionary Reads is a special book club program held at the Gettysburg Library, located at 140 Baltimore Street, celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary. Meetings will take place from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on April 9, and May 14.
Participants are invited to bring a snack and beverage while exploring selected aspects of the American Revolution through both historical fiction and nonfiction works.
Each month features paired reading options, and attendees may choose to read one or both titles.
April selections include Bunker Hill by Nathaniel Philbrick and/or April Morning by Howard Fast.
May selections include The Men Who Lost America by Andrew O’Shaughnessy and/or Redcoat by Bernard Cornwell.
