Rissa Miller’s Ouija – The Beguiling Story of Maryland’s Silent Seer

Ghostly Images of Gettysburg presents public historian and storyteller Rissa Miller on October 11th at 4:30PM. Rissa returns to the Orphanage for her new presentation detailing the history of the Ouija Board. With its roots in Baltimore and on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, this much-feared (and MUCH misunderstood) oracle system is our neighbor Maryland’s own magical seer. Gather your courage and delve into the secrets of the Ouija.

Rissa Miller is an editor, author, herbalist, seer, and storyteller. Her expertise stems from extensive research into the area of esoteric history, including ghosts, witchcraft, cryptids, and folklore. Rissa believes the most enduring stories teach us not only about humanity’s past, but also give reason to reflect on our own present beliefs and realities.
