Adams County Winery invites guests to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week with a special event on Saturday, May 2nd at its Farm Winery location in Orrtanna, PA. While the event is open to the public, educators are invited to register in advance for a complimentary pour of wine, available to the first 325 teachers who sign up. Registered participants must present valid school identification along with a standard photo ID upon arrival, and all wine redemptions are reserved for guests 21 and older.
The day honors the dedication and impact of teachers while welcoming the entire community to enjoy the scenic vineyard setting. Live music will be provided by Staff Infection, a band made up of local educators, performing from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Guests can also visit the Terrace Bistro, open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering wood-fired pizzas and pretzels to pair with the winery’s award-winning wines, local craft beer, and light fare.
Wine redemptions will be available from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and guests are encouraged to register early as the event is expected to fill quickly. The Farm Winery remains open to all visitors throughout the day, with drinks available for purchase until 30 minutes prior to closing. This rain-or-shine event is family-friendly, with children welcome under supervision and pets permitted on the grounds, excluding the Tasting Room.
