Join Leon Reed for an engaging look at the creation of the United States Constitution and the events that led to its adoption. The presentation explores how the Constitution emerged from the shortcomings of the Articles of Confederation, examines James Madison’s vision for a stronger national government, and explains the key compromises that secured ratification. Attendees also learn about the document’s early limitations and the Framers’ carefully designed system of checks and balances intended to prevent the return of tyranny.
