Wax and Wine: A Pysanky Experience

Adams County Winery and Chatty Chameleon will host Wax and Wine: A Pysanky Experience on March 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Adams County Winery in Orrtanna.

Participants will learn the traditional Ukrainian art of Pysanky egg decorating using wax-resist techniques. The workshop will introduce the history, symbolism, and cultural significance of the practice while guiding guests through the process of creating their own decorated egg.

During the hands-on session, participants will use a kistka stylus and beeswax, apply layered dyes, and complete a finished egg to take home.

All materials and instruction are included. Each guest will receive a glass of wine from a select list or a nonalcoholic beverage.

Admission is $55 per person. The event will take place at Adams County Winery, 251 Peach Tree Road, Orrtanna, PA 17325.
