West Philadelphia Orchestra at the Historic Dobbin House

Dobbin House Tavern hosts the Brass Band Festival on Steinwehr Avenue on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 7:15 p.m. The event takes place outside the historic Dobbin House at 89 Steinwehr Avenue in Gettysburg as part of the 29th Annual Gettysburg Brass Band Festival.

The evening celebrates the 250th birthday of the 1776 Dobbin House and the United States and brings lively entertainment to one of Gettysburg’s most iconic historic settings. The West Philadelphia Orchestra takes the stage through a partnership between the Gettysburg Brass Band Festival and the Steinwehr Avenue Business Improvement District. Known for their high-energy blend of Eastern European brass, jazz, and global dance rhythms, the band brings a fresh and dynamic twist to the traditional brass scene, inviting guests to dance along the avenue or relax in lawn chairs and enjoy the music.

The Dobbin House remains open throughout the evening with food and beverages available, encouraging guests to come early, stay late, and fully experience the celebration.
