Zucchini Grand Prix 2026

The Adams County Farmers Market hosts the Zucchini Grand Prix again this year on 9/5 from 8a – 1p! This kid-friendly, STEM-focused, “pine box derby” style contest is designed to help kids think creatively and have fun. Kids and families can build their own zucchini-mobile and compete to win prizes.

Kids 16 and under can build their own zucchini-mobiles and race to win the Zucchini Grand Prix. Craft materials and zucchinis provided. There is no registration or fee to participate, but donations to help support this fun event and keep it free for kids to participate are welcome. Supporters can make a donation by Clicking Here.

Also on site: farm stands, artisan creators, live music, and food trucks – all conveniently located on Long Lane behind Colt Park. Don’t forget the Adams County Farmers Market is part of the Adams County Field to Festival Trail  – an experience that celebrates all things agricultural in Apple Country.

Registration and car building from 8:30am to 10:00am. Racing begins at 10:30am!
