In partnership with Arnie & Laura Jansen, winemakers at Jan Zell Wines – Boyer Cellars sells a variety of traditional red, white, and fruit wines and hard ciders. The rustic, spacious tasting room is located adjacent to Boyer Nurseries’ garden shop and features a chestnut wood tasting bar, ample seating, as well as a large, wrap-around porch with scenic views of the orchard and neighboring farms.
The Jansens began their relationship with Boyer’s Nursery as children back in the 1960s and it has blossomed over the years as they have purchased their trees, plants and fresh fruit. Since 2015, the Jansens have been making handcrafted wines and ciders in Fort Loudon, PA. They would frequently visit Boyer Cellars, sit and sip some wine, and comment on the beautiful location and scenery. As time went on they thought it would make a wonderful location for their winery should the opportunity arise. That opportunity came about in September of 2021, and we all have been hard at work trying to make it a reality. Rich and Kim Capozzi, whom the Jansens met through home wine-making events, will be managing the location. They are passionate about bringing you good wine and great service when you visit.
