At Screaming Bambino Cellars, located at 405 Boyer Nursery Road in Biglerville, Kim and Rich Capozzi continue the tradition of wine making and wine enjoyment first established by Jan Zell Wines in 2014. “Good wine, good food, cherished friendships, and above all – love of family” inspire the Capozzis to carry on in the tradition of the family patriarch Rich Capozzi, Sr, and his twin brother Bob.
Nestled on a cozy hillside in Apple Country, Adams County, Screaming Bambino, established at this location in 2022, offers patrons a relaxing experience in a rustic tasting room that features a striking chestnut wood tasting bar. Guests can enjoy their wines and ciders accompanied by small plates, soulful musicians, and serene vistas either inside the spacious Boyer Cellars building or outside on the inviting wrap-around porch.
The Screaming Bambino wine list includes everything from Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio to Rose, Pinot Noir, and Nebbiolo. From dry to sweet, white to rose to red, the tasting room also still offers Jan Zell Wines that manifest strawberry, peach, and cranberry highlights. Guests can sample multiple rotating flavors in Screaming Bambino’s line of hard ciders as they delight in assorted flatbread pizzas, creamy artichoke dip, loaded nachos, and other savory plates.
Well-behaved and leashed tail-waggers are always welcomed on the porch or in the pavilion.
