The Farnsworth House is the only Civil War period dining experience in Gettysburg. Period fare served by period dressed servers in historic inn with over 100 bullet holes in the exterior south wall. Some specialties include game pie, peanut soup, spoon bread and pumpkin fritters, and steak and seafood dishes. We recommend reservations for our dining room which is open seven days a week at 5pm. We also have the family friendly Tavern, Sweney’s, which serves lite fare with a touch of Pennsylvania Dutch.
