Managed by the Gettysburg Area Recreation Authority, the Gettysburg Area Recreation Park offers a wonderful place to play, meet, and grow.
The Park provides a great place for open play with horseshoes, darts, shuffleboard, basketball and playgrounds. In addition, the park provides The Biser Fitness Trail and Walking Path and a skate park.
With a variety of fields, the Park is a great place for teams to play. Rentals are available for softball, baseball, soccer, and football.
The Park is also home to entertaining events, including a 5K Color Craze Run, carnival, and much more.
Looking for a place to host a reception, reunion, meeting, or cooking demonstration? Look no further than the Gettysburg Area Recreation Park. The Charlie Sterner building offers two conference rooms, a large assembly room, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. The “Rec Park” offers four pavilions, seven playing fields, an amphitheater, two shuffle board pads, playgrounds and ten station fitness trail. All outdoor facilities are equipped with electricity.
