Pointe Pub, in the former school cafeteria of the award-winning Federal Pointe Inn, boasts both charm and history in its classroom-themed presentation that still reflects the landmark’s former life as the renowned Meade School, Gettysburg’s inaugural high school.
Proprietor Pete Monahan has adorned the pub with classic blackboards, archival photographs, and vintage objects to create a quaint and welcoming atmosphere where guests can indulge in an exceptional, eclectic menu. Old style classroom blackboards detail the attractive pub’s drinks menu which features a wide selection of artisanal ales, cider, and beer, local and non-native wines, and premium spirits. The food menu includes an array of pleasing appetizers from pickle dip to roasted poblanos peppers; fresh salads and soups; 16-inch gourmet pizzas made to order; and entrees from light fare offerings like a simple cheese quesadilla to heartier meals like their famous twin crab cakes—jumbo lump and house-made.
Locals and guests alike enjoy the refined yet cozy pub, its adjoining dining areas, and refreshing outdoor patio. Situated a short walk from Lincoln Square, the historic heart of town, Pointe Pub invites everyone to relax, settle in, and have an exceptional dining experience in an exceptional setting.
