For more than 55 years, Seton Center has been serving the Emmitsburg community through compassionate outreach, essential services, and one of the region’s premier thrift shopping destinations. Guided by the spirit of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, the organization is dedicated to building a hopeful future by supporting the well-being of individuals and families throughout northern Frederick County and neighboring communities.

Named Frederick County’s “Best of the Best” Thrift Store in both 2023 and 2025, the Seton Center Thrift Store welcomes more than 11,000 shoppers each year. Visitors will find an ever-changing selection of quality clothing, furniture, housewares, antiques, collectibles, books, décor, and other unique treasures at affordable prices.

Every purchase directly supports Seton Center’s outreach programs, helping provide food, rent and utility assistance, wellness initiatives, dental care, educational opportunities, and other vital resources for neighbors in need.
