Hikers of all ages and abilities will love exploring the trails! Spend an hour wandering down an easy loop, or opt for a day-long hike that connects to Michaux State Forest’s extensive trail system. Trails are open to the public, dog-friendly and free of charge. Not a hiker? No problem! Meet our Animal Ambassadors, including turtles, snakes and a barred owl, by booking a private program. Play in the cool waters of Swamp and Middle Creeks, or enjoy a picnic by the pond. Restrooms (with composting toilets!), picnic tables, a pavilion and potable water are available on-site. Check our website and Facebook page for community events, summer camps and public programs!
