For the Beer Lover

While the Adams County Pour Tour includes craft beverages of every variety - wine, beer, cider, mead, and spirits - we wanted to create an itinerary for those of you who especially appreciate an ice-cold craft brew.

Day 1

With this itinerary, you’ll stop at our local breweries while enjoying some of Gettysburg’s other recreational activities along the way! If you’re an early riser, start your day with a round of golf at one of Gettysburg’s golf courses. Enjoy a beer on the course before your Adams County Pour Tour journey begins or wait until you’re first stop for that cold brew. Head to Thirsty Farmer Brew Works to collect your first stamp after you try one of their refreshing hand-crafted brews. If you worked up an appetite, you can enjoy a farm-to-table meal from their menu.

Then, head to Steinwehr Avenue and earn a beer and spirit stamp at Appalachian Brewing Company – Battlefield. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Steinwehr with a delicious beer in their beer garden.

Day 2

Before you begin drinking, hop on a horse and learn about the historic events that took place in Gettysburg with a tour by a Licensed Battlefield Guide. These tours are perfect for those looking to add a little bit of adventure to their visit!

Round up your day at Fourscore Beer Co., one of the newest breweries in town. Just a few minutes away, sample original craft beer and order from their locally sourced menu.

Now that you’ve sampled Adams County’s robust brews, venture out and try some more of our craft beverages on your next visit!
