Submit an Event Listing

The purpose of the Destination Gettysburg Event Calendar is to serve tourism for Adams County. As such, events must be unique and appeal to visitors.

Examples of events that are not eligible include (but are not limited to): store sales, multi-day classes, job fairs, meetings and conferences, yard sales, and membership events.

Listing Qualification:

1. Event date cannot be more than 12 months from date submitted.
2. Each event listing must have its own start time.
3. To qualify as a recurring event, each date in the series must be identical (time, description, etc) with the only difference being the date. If anything other than date differs, a separate listing must be submitted.
4. Each event must be unique. It cannot be a sale or special, nor part of your normal operation.
5. If your event has LIVE music, you must specify name of artist.
6. If applicable, a price must clearly be stated.
7. Must include a description.
8. One “teaser image” may be submitted. It cannot contain text (i.e., no graphics or fliers).
9. No other media (video, audio, etc.) can be included.

All submissions are reviewed and must be approved. Submitting your event for consideration does not guarantee that it will be published on our calendar.
