Headsets with single earbuds are provided so you can hear every word without missing a moment.

The route begins behind the Virginia Monument, where General Robert E. Lee awaited his troops after Pickett’s Charge. Follow the trail to the Spangler Farm, enjoy sweeping views of the Peach Orchard, and spot Little Round Top in the distance. Cross the Emmitsburg Road onto the Union side of the battle to see the Trostle Farm.

Along the way, guests will ride on an authentic Civil War mode of transportation and gain a new appreciation for how the terrain influenced the battle. Outriders will accompany the group at all times for safety, ensuring a secure and memorable experience. This is far more than a trail ride; it is a journey through history that will transform the way riders see Gettysburg.

Tours depart from McMillan Woods Youth Campground, Gettysburg. Guests are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure time.
