Farnsworth House Tour

Take a 60 minute guided tour of the Historic Farnsworth House – listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the US Department of Interior. Visit the Garret (attic) and see where the Sharpshooter was stationed who is thought to have fired the fatal shot that took the life of Jennie Wade, the only civilian to have been killed during the Battle of Gettysburg. See the cases of Civil War relics on display. Descend the cellar which is set up like a Victorian Viewing Parlor with an antique coffin, period photos, church pews and more. And view over 100 bullet holes on the outside of the house.

It’s the perfect opportunity to hear the long and interesting history of the house throughout the years from the builder to the current owners and everything in between!
