Guided Museum Tour: Gettysburg Beyond the Battle Museum

Discover the multi-century history of Gettysburg through the eyes of an expert local historian. Join one of the museum’s knowledgeable docents for a one-hour guided tour of Beyond the Battle Museum, where the remarkable stories of Gettysburg’s civilians come to life through twelve immersive exhibit galleries, more than 1,000 rare artifacts, and engaging multimedia experiences.

Along the way, each guide will share additional stories, historical context, and fascinating details that go beyond the exhibits themselves, providing a deeper understanding of the people who lived through America’s defining conflict. Guests will also experience Caught in the Crossfire, an award-winning 360-degree immersive experience, which places visitors inside a Gettysburg farmhouse as the battle rages outside.

Registration is required for this program. The cost for Gettysburg History members or youth (K-12) is $15 and general admission is $20.

The guided tour will be held at the Beyond the Battle Museum, 625 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, beginning at 9 a.m.
