Spirits Speak Ghostly Encounters

The Spirits Speak Ghostly Encounters brings Gettysburg’s haunted history to life through a dramatic 90-minute walking tour led by the spirits themselves. Presented at the Jennie Wade House and the Haunted Orphanage, this immersive experience transports guests into the stories of some of Gettysburg’s most famous paranormal figures.

Throughout the tour, costumed ghost guides share their stories as if recounting the events firsthand, offering a unique perspective on the people and places said to remain haunted to this day. Guests step inside historic locations while hearing tales of tragedy, mystery, and unexplained encounters that continue to captivate visitors from around the world.

Featured spirits include Rosa Carmichael, Dr. John Francis Bourns, and Isabella “Bella” Hunter from the Haunted Orphanage, along with Mary Ann Wade and Georgia Wade McClellan from the Jennie Wade House. Each tour explores the lives, legends, and lingering mysteries connected to these historic Gettysburg sites.

The Spirits Speak Haunted Orphanage tours begin at 7 p.m. on June 5, 12, 19, and 26. The Spirits Speak Jennie Wade House tours begin at 7 p.m. on June 6, 13, 20, and 27. Admission is $20 per person.
