The National Apple Harvest Festival

Adams County, known around the world for the American Civil War and President Lincoln's famous Gettysburg Address, is known locally as a family community built on dedication, respect of the land, fresh air and relationships. We work hard and we play hard. We invite strangers into our community and our homes and we make them friends. The stories of Adams County are what make our destination special, we hope that you will discover people you wish to meet and places you just can't wait to see...

For over 50 years, the Upper Adams Jaycees have been hosting a celebration of our apple industry. Once a one-day event for the community, this annual tradition has grown to host over 100,000 during a four-day period. The event has been featured on BuzzFeed, National Geographic, the Travel Channel and USA Today.

Decades of tradition and love have made this event one of the most celebrated events in Gettysburg. We invite you to learn the history and the traditions.
