Twice a year, in May and August, the rolling hills of Granite Hill Camping Resort come alive with the twang of banjos, the sweet strains of fiddles, and the heartfelt melodies of bluegrass music. Set against the backdrop of our beautiful timber frame stage, nestled among 150 acres of picturesque farmland, the festival celebrates both the rich traditions and vibrant innovations of bluegrass music.
Founded by Joe & Lil Cornett, recipients of the Distinguished Achievement Award from the International Bluegrass Music Association, this festival has become a beloved tradition for bluegrass enthusiasts far and wide since 1979! From traditional tunes to contemporary classics, there’s something for every music lover to enjoy.
But the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival is more than just great music—it’s a full-fledged celebration of community and the simple joys of life. Take part in informative workshops led by your favorite artists, meet fellow fans, and indulge in mouthwatering menus from our food trucks. When you’re not grooving to the music, explore the countless activities available at Granite Hill Camping Resort, from fishing and swimming to mini-golf and horseshoes.
As the sun sets and the stars twinkle overhead, gather around the campfire with friends old and new, swapping stories and sharing laughs late into the night. At the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival, the music never stops, and the memories last a lifetime.
Dust off your boots, pack your bags, and join us for a weekend of bluegrass bliss!
