Day 1

Start off your Adams County Pour Tour adventure by sampling some wine at Adams County Winery – Gettysburg Wine Shop on Chambersburg Street. They are known for their sweet libations produced right here in the county.

Explore the boutiques and shops in and around Lincoln Square. Once you work up an appetite, you’ll have a great selection of restaurants to choose from all within walking distance.

After enjoying a delicious culinary delight, it’s time for more tastings! If it’s nice out you can walk down Baltimore Street to Reid’s Winery: The Cider House. At Reid’s you can add two stamps to your Adams County Pour Tour passport – one for cider and one for wine.

After your tasting, you may want to mix in some of the history that Gettysburg is known for. Right on Baltimore Street you can pick from museums like Civil War Tails at the Homestead Diorama, the Shriver House Museum, the Jennie Wade House Museum, The Rupp House or Gettysburg Museum of History.

Next, enjoy a sampling at Buddy Boy Winery’s Gettysburg Tasting Room, also located on Baltimore Street. Buddy Boy has a wide selection of wines for every palate. Don’t forget to claim your prize after receiving five unique stamps so you can remember your downtown expedition.

Day 2

Are you ready for another day of tasting Gettysburg’s flavorful craft beverages? First, we recommend stopping at Appalachian Brewing Company – Battlefield for a cold beer and a bite to eat. Sample both beer and spirits for two new passport stamps! With menu options like Mountain Nachos and Brewers Mac & Cheese, you won’t leave hungry. Right across the street is the historic Soldiers’ National Cemetery. Pay tribute to the men who died in the Battle of Gettysburg for a humbling experience. Hungry for more history? Just down the street you will also find the Gettysburg Heritage Center – Museum where you can learn about the battle from the perspective of civilians, as well as soldiers.

Your last stop for the day is to Gettysburg’s newest brewery, Fourscore Beer Co. With 14 beers on tap, you may want to try a flight. And their food menu is sure to satisfy before you  hit the road and head back home.
