Christmas on the Homefront kicks off the season at WWII American Experience. The museum brings back a 1940’s Christmas celebration on December 6 with raffles & refreshments, music & model trains, and of course, a visit from Santa from 11a – 1p.Bring the family to see the original taxi from the 1940’s movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life” starring Jimmy Stewart. Explore the 1940’s train garden and display, greet Santa when he arrives, and work on some kids crafts for the holiday.
The Sunderman Conservatory Wind Symphony presents emblems— a concert that explores how music can serve as a mirror for our own perceptions. Each work on the program invites the listener to find their own meaning and interpretation.Join us at the Majestic Theater Friday, November 7 at 8pm. Everyone with a Gettysburg College ID and children under 18 get FREE ADMISSION. For all others, admission is only $5. Tickets available at the door through the Majestic Box Office.
Holiday House Tour
The Holiday House Tour, sponsored by Gettysburg History, is a self-guided tour of historic buildings on December 13 and 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (One ticket grants admission on both days.)
Journey through the Gettysburg area for two days, visiting historic homes and buildings in their holiday splendor. You may visit the locations in any order that you wish on their given day.
