Flutes on the 4th

Every July 4th, approximately 70 flute players gather on the steps at Hotel Gettysburg to play patriotic and civil war music. Coming from all over the country, the musicians play piccolo, flute, alto, bass, and contrbass flute and present a brief background of each song they play.

Kick off the 250th anniversary of Independence Day in downtown Gettysburg at 10am on July 4th 2026 and be inspired!

The concert is free and open to the public.

 

Kirk Wise Duo – Live at Adams County Winery!

Adams County Winery is excited to welcome back Kirk Wise for a Live Music on the Grounds performance! Kirk will perform at the Farm Winery from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.Adams County Winery will have its award-winning wines available, in addition to local craft beer, and snacks, including cheese and crackers and gourmet meat and cheese plates. We now have kombucha on tap. The Terrace Bistro will be open 11am-4pm, serving wood-fired pizzas and pretzels.The last call for purchasing onsite drinks will be 30 minutes prior to close. Death cafes have been around for a little while but they are an up and coming opportunity to talk about something that is very much around us in our society.
