Plan Your Gettysburg Trip

A Day in Gettysburg

Would you like to visit some of Gettysburg's top attractions already bundled together into a day trip for you?

One of our favorite things to do around the holidays is give back to our community, who have been so welcoming to us for over 70 years. In the past, we have donated gifts to local families in need, but this year we decided to do something a little different. We will be collecting donations in an effort to give back to a generation that is not thought of as often around the holidays. This year, we have created a special tour just for you and all of your  proceeds will go to our Stuff a Bus Holiday Gift Drive.

Your day in Gettysburg will start off with a visit to the Lincoln Train Museum as you’ll journey the rails with President Lincoln as he shares his love of America with you. Next, explore the Gettysburg Heritage Center and see what it was like to be a Gettysburg Civilian during the Battle of Gettysburg, or of a Soldier on the battlefield. You will then have time for lunch on your own at a restaurant of your choice in the area before we enjoy a 2-hour battlefield tour with a licensed guide to explore the battlefield. Then it’s off to the Shriver House to travel back in time with a period attire guide and you walk through the home and learn the other side of the story-the civilian side of the Battle of Gettysburg.

The day in Gettysburg package includes:  Admission to the Lincoln Train Museum, admission to the Gettysburg Heritage Center, Admission to the Shriver House Museum, a 2-hour Battlefield tour with a licensed guide and free time for lunch on your own.

Price is $40 per person, with all proceeds going to our “Stuff a Bus” fundraiser.

If you bring a gift along on the trip to donate to a Senior Citizen, you will be entered in a drawing to win 4 tickets to cruise on the Pride of Susquehanna. Some items being collected are warm socks or slippers, note pads and pens, adult coloring books, colored pencils, puzzle books, nail polish, chapsticks, first aid items, and lottery tickets. You just never know when the Jolly Old Man himself could make an appearance during the trip to collect your donation if you so choose to bring one along.

Pick up locations will be Camp Hill, Carlisle, York Springs and Gettysburg. Visit to book your trip or call us directly at 717-528-4125.

This package is only available from 12/10/2017 through 12/10/2017
