Launched in 2025, Gettysburg History brings these diverse experiences together under one name to better serve visitors, learners, and supporters from across the country and around the world. Gettysburg History is an initiative of the Adams County Historical Society, the nonprofit organization that has preserved and shared the history of this community for more than 130 years.
