Sunderman Brass Festival MasterclassesMasterclasses as part of the Sunderman Brass Festival will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Paul Recital Hall at Schmucker Memorial Hall on the Gettysburg College campus. These educational sessions feature members of the Sunderman Brass Faculty as well as guest artist Sylvia Alimena, retired horn of the National Symphony Orchestra. The masterclasses offer audiences and participants the opportunity to observe high-level instruction and musical collaboration. Admission is free.

Brass of Peace Concert

Celebrating Military Heroes takes place at 1:00 p.m. on November 14, 2026, at the Adams County Library in Gettysburg, located at 140 Baltimore Street. The event features a historical presentation honoring American soldiers from the Revolutionary War, Civil War, and World War II.Historian Leon Reed, the fourth-great-grandson of Revolutionary War veteran Jeremiah Lott, will portray Lott and share his experiences serving in major campaigns from 1776 through the end of the war. Military Weekend takes place July 24 through July 26, with event hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on July 24 and 25, and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on July 26. This annual immersive military history event is held on the grounds of the World War II American Experience Museum.The weekend features more than 100 historic military vehicles on display, living history encampments representing conflicts from World War I through modern engagements, and live vehicle, artillery, and weapons demonstrations.
