Join the Adams County Arts Council and the Adams County Farmers Market for the Third Annual Paint at the Park! This plein air event invites artists to set up at the market to create and sell their works on Saturday, September 27. There is no cost for artists to participate, but registration is required. The tradition continues on Tuesday October 21st: it’s the 2025 Gettysburg Halloween Parade! Bring your chairs and get some scares. Mister Ed’s Elephant Museum and Candy Emporium hosts its annual free Great Pumpkin Party Saturday, Oct. 25, from noon-3 p.m.Pumpkins will be available for children to paint and take home free-of-charge during the outdoor event. Children who wear their Halloween costumes may pick up a small goodie bag with candy.Throughout the event, acclaimed artist Michael Allison will carve giant pumpkins that will be raffled to benefit the Adams County SPCA.
