For his three-day residency in the Majestic’s Flex Theater, Bobby Horton offers two distinct programs: Songs & Stories of the Civil War and The Long Steel Rail in America.Songs and Stories from the Civil War: While dressed in 19th-century attire and using period musical instruments, Bobby Horton will transport you back in time to a significant point in our nation’s history. You will hear songs and stories of struggles, hopes, and fears with each piece placed in its historical context. This performance is not just for Civil War buffs, but anyone who loves great music and storytelling.

The Long Steel Rail in America: The American railroad system brought forth social, economic, and political change to a country that, at the time, was only 50 years old. Bobbly celebrates this phenomenon of the Industrial Revolution and shares the themes and tunes that traveled the railroads and woven themselves into American culture.
