About the Inn
Stay in an 1809 Civil War era Farmhouse located on the South Cavalry battlefield in rural Gettysburg, PA. The historic Battlefield Bed and Breakfast Inn was a headquarters for Union General Wesley Merritt, a Union Army campground, and a Union Army field hospital. Connect with American history on our beautiful 30-acre battlefield property. Stay in the original 1809 farmhouse where we offer 10 guest rooms ranging from historical to luxurious. We have a guest room inside the historic 1820's barn as well as a honeymoon cottage. We offer daily gourmet breakfasts and morning history presentations included with every stay at the Inn. Regardless of the reason or the season, you will find a welcoming staff and unforgettable historic ambiance here at Battlefield Bed and Breakfast Inn.
