Friday, 9/18 at 8pm, the historic Majestic Theater on Carlisle Street in downtown Gettysburg hosts a shared concert with the Sunderman Conservatory Wind Symphony (Russell McCutcheon , conductor) and the Gettysburg College Jazz Ensemble (Amanda Heim, director)! “Mosaic” celebrates music inspired by art — works by Dello Joio, Hazo, Ellington, and Akiyoshi, among others. Land Conservancy of Adams County welcomes guests to the Annual Summer Picnic at the Historic Daniel Lady Farm on Sunday September 13 at 4pm. This free family-friendly event will include a traditional potluck dinner – bring a dish to share and your own place settings. The Land Conservancy will provide delicious Kennie’s Fried Chicken, Ellen’s baked beans, water, tea, lemonade, tables, chairs, and plenty of community spirit.
